Why Zenarca

Every technology cycle brings a wave of noise. New frameworks. New platforms. New promises that this time, everything changes. Some of it is real. Most of it isn't. The difference between the two is experience — and experience can't be rushed.

Zenarca is an archive of that experience. We've been building container orchestration since before Kubernetes had a logo. Automating infrastructure before "GitOps" had a name. Running distributed systems before "cloud native" was a conference track. That history doesn't make us resistant to change — it makes us better at separating signal from noise, faster at adopting what works, and more honest about what doesn't.

In the age of AI, calm mastery matters more than ever. The tooling is moving at an unprecedented pace. Models change quarterly. Agent frameworks appear and vanish in weeks. The Founder

Rick Davis has spent 20+ years building infrastructure at scale — across enterprise, startup, and everything in between. The career is a record of hard-won operational knowledge: what breaks under load, what survives a reorg, what patterns are worth carrying forward when the tools change.

  1. Verizon

    Infrastructure at petabit scale

    Architected video delivery infrastructure handling petabit-scale traffic. Built the systems that kept video running for millions of subscribers during peak demand — Super Bowl, major news events, live sports. Learned what real scale requires from the engineers who built the internet's backbone.

  2. Dell Technologies

    Building the DevOps practice

    Built Dell's DevOps practice from scratch — CI/CD platforms, Infrastructure-as-Code adoption, and the cultural and tooling changes that make continuous delivery possible at enterprise scale. Shipped CI/CD platforms with 100% production uptime. Presented results at Open Networking Summit and Linux Foundation events.

  3. Figment

    Blockchain infrastructure

    Designed and operated blockchain validator infrastructure across 1,300+ servers and 13 providers with multi-site active-active failover. Ran Kubernetes platforms at bare-metal scale. Developed expertise in the intersection of distributed systems, cryptographic security, and operational reliability.

  4. Cube Exchange

    Exchange infrastructure

    Built and operated infrastructure for a high-performance cryptocurrency exchange. Low-latency networking, high-availability trading systems, and the operational rigor that financial infrastructure demands.

    Founded 2024
